Casablanca Finance City Authority (CFCA) and the Africa Busines School (ABS) of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) announced today the signing of a partnership agreement to densify and align the highest international standards for Casablanca training offer.
Through this partnership, the two institutions wish to combine their efforts and coordinate their actions so that Casablanca becomes a platform of skills and expertise in the African continent.
The agreement forecasts in particular the transfer of the Master of Science in Financial Engineering (MSFE), created and supported so far by CFCA, to the UM6P. In this perspective, the launch of the third MSFE class in October 2016 will be under the auspices of the Africa Business School UM6P.
Furthermore, both institutions have agreed to jointly develop programs to strengthen the training offer available in Casablanca. In harmony with this context the Africa Business School has just started in Casablanca a high level executive MBA program in partnership with Columbia University in New York.
Speaking on the occasion of the agreement signing ceremony, Mr. Hicham Zegrary, Director of Institutional Affairs and Operations of Casablanca Finance City Authority, said : «This partnership perfectly fits CFC ambition to equip Casablanca’s financial status with a large pool of highly qualified human resources. ”
For his part, Mr. Abdellatif Sharafi, who is in charge of Africa Business School, said : “This collaboration will promote the emergence of high-caliber managers and African leaders who will contribute to the economic transformation of the continent and make it perpetual “.
