DESCRIPTION:Our seminar brought together experts to discuss the actuarial profession. \nThe topics discussed were as follows: \n\n“Financial rating for insurers and reinsurers” presented by Mr. Youssef FASSI FIHRI YOUSSEF Managing Director of SCR\n“The development of the financial market in Morocco: a real challenge for the insurance sector” presented by Mr. Mohamed AMRANI\, President of the Moroccan Association of Actuaries\n\nThe participants exchanged with Mr. FASSI FIHRI and Mr. AMRANI\, around the context and the stakes of financial rating\, with a focus on the rating approach on a national scale versus international rating. \nMr. FASSI FIHRI and Mr. AMRANI also discussed the financial market in Morocco and Africa and the stakes of financial development for the insurance and reinsurance sector. \nThis seminar emphasized the need to develop the Moroccan Actuarial profession through training provided in the framework of partnerships between the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University and the Moroccan insurance and finance sectors.
