SUMMARY:UM6P SCIENCE WEEK
DESCRIPTION:UM6P held its third edition of the Science Week\, between 20th and 26th February at its campus in Benguerir. The event aimed to explore contemporary science\, generate debate\, and ideas to inform the biggest industry discussions. As a university at the frontiers of science\, UM6P promotes innovation\, encourages interdisciplinary studies\, and inspires participants to engage in ethical and philosophical debate beyond their core areas of expertise. The Science Week had conferences\, debates\, reading circles\, plays\, and musical performances. Key speakers included Stephen Wolfram\, Gregory Chaitin\, Stuart Kauffman\, and Hammou Laamrani\, among others. The theme for this year’s event was ‘Complexity’\, where each university department explored the relationship between complexity and their discipline. UM6P aimed to offer a distinctly African perspective on pressing global issues\, such as fertilizers and sustainable agriculture through living labs.\nTo relive the highlights of this week in video\, go to youtube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLw1sW0Y_wQcoYuedC3YslGWsmf_KkixNd
