DESCRIPTION:Africa Business School (ABS) proudly hosted the prestigious AIB MENA 2023 Conference in Rabat\, Morocco\, from December 10 to 13. Under the theme “Scaling Inclusive Entrepreneurship Across Borders for a Sustainable Future\,” the conference served as a gathering ground for global thought leaders\, researchers\, and practitioners in the realm of international business. \nDiscussions at the conference were rich and varied\, covering crucial topics such as international entrepreneurship\, finance\, accounting\, global strategy\, and human resource management. Esteemed speakers\, including Habiba Mouttaki (Vice-President\, OCP Africa) and Lilac Nachum\, shared insightful perspectives during the enlightening opening speeches\, focusing on “A New Way of Seeing for Africa: Entrepreneurship\, Exclusivity\, and Sustainability.” \nPanel discussions delved into a diverse range of subjects\, notably featuring “GLOBE 2020: Latest Insights on National Culture and Leadership in Morocco and Saudi Arabia.” The conference also marked the launch of significant publications\, including “Doing Business in the Middle East: Practical Guide based on Research and Management in the MENA Region” by Vijay Pereira\, Pawan Budhwar\, and Yama Temouri. \nHands-on learning experiences were facilitated through workshops like “Digital scaling in the global arena” and exclusive article development workshops. Roundtable discussions explored current issues such as “IB research in Africa: Emerging Issues in Disruptive Times” and “Building Bridges across Cultures: The X-Culture Project and its Pedagogical and Practical Value and Implications.”* \nA dedicated table for AIB Fellows provided an opportunity to delve into the future of international business\, contributing to the collaborative atmosphere of the event.
