The theme of his presentation was “Going on Offense: Transforming Hard to Abate Sectors.”\n\nDr. Forrest is a global business and philanthropic leader dedicated to ending the use of fossil fuels\, creating green energy solutions\, and tackling global challenges like modern slavery and oceanic destruction through overfishing and plastic pollution. He holds a PhD in Marine Ecology from the University of Western Australia and owns Squadron Energy\, Australia’s leading renewable energy company. He also chairs the Minderoo Foundation\, a philanthropic organization focused on issues ranging from gender equality and climate change to rebuilding Ukraine.\n\nDuring the conference\, Dr. Forrest focused on several key points:\n\n– Fortescue’s partnership with OCP for sustainable technologies in agriculture.\n– Fortescue’s values which are the key to success\n– A brief presentation on Fortescue as a world leader in iron ore production.\nThe event was attended by 73 participants\, leading to interesting exchanges between Dr. Forrest and the attendees.
