Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) and the Moroccan Association of Actuaries (AMA)

Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) and the Moroccan Association of Actuaries (AMA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) based on a common interest in promoting cooperation and exchange in education, research, and innovation.

UM6P and the AMA expect to assess collaboration opportunities in the following areas:
Co-designing executive programs and animating some modules, Contributing to research programs, and building an international Center of Actuarial Excellence {CAE) at UM6P, Organizing seminars, events, etc., and Capacity Building.

The Moroccan Association of Actuaries is the association of the actuarial profession in Morocco. The AMA exists to encourage the development of the profession of actuaries, acknowledged as technically competent and professionally reliable, which will ensure that the public interest is served.
Actuaries are globally recognized as leading experts in risk and financial security, contributing to the well-being of society. The mission of the AMA is to advance the competency, promote the advancement of scientific knowledge and the skills of the actuarial profession, assure the reputation of actuaries, and inform global stakeholders in banking, insurance, pension funds, and social security and capital market sectors.

The MoU has been signed on July 16th, 2021 by Mr. Younes Kchia, Vice-Dean of Africa Business School and Mr. Mohamed Amrani, President of Moroccan Association of Actuaries.
