CRANET (The Cranfield Network on International Human Resource Management) is the world’s largest Human Resources Management (HRM) research network collecting comparative data on HRM in different countries for over three decades. Launched in 1989, CRANET was established to meet the need for ready access to information on best practices and comparative performance in Europe and globally. The research network consists today of over 40 Universities and business schools in Europe, North America, Asia, Australia, and now Africa.
CRANET is a comprehensive international HRM scientific study on central subjects and trends related to organizational structure, policy and practices of HRM as recruitment, training, development, compensation, and employee relations. It also examines company-specific, sectorial and country-specific differences and trends.
The CRANET dataset allows for the comparison of HRM policies and practices across and within countries across sectors of trends and transformations in HRM over a 30-year period.
In Morocco, the CRANET project is conducted by the OB/HRM Cluster of the Africa Business School. The study outcomes will provide a valuable basis for understanding, informing and benchmarking HRM activities across different organizations in the Moroccan context.
CRANET collects data over a four-year cycle, and a report on the first pilot data collection for Morocco will be available on this site for the participant organizations.
