BIOGRAPHY

Abdel-Maoula Chaar holds a PhD in Business Administration with a concentration in strategic management from the French University Paris-Est. He is a full professor at the African Business School – Rabat where he heads the DBA program. He teaches DBA and master level courses in methodology, management, and organizational dynamics. His research focuses on management in disruptive contexts, entrepreneurship in its various forms and, MSMEs resilience and sustainability. Abdel-Maoula was previously the director of the Lebanese ESA Business School center of research (CRED). He was also member of the scientic board of the school, scientic co- director of the DBA and co-director of the “Scenario Factory”; a think-tank which conducts foresight studies on the long-term implications of major societal or economic issues in Lebanon and the Middle East.
