BIOGRAPHY

Dominique JACQUET holds a PhD from Bordeaux University in Management of Innovation. He is a civil engineer (Ecole des Ponts) and got his MBA from INSEAD. He was a nance executive (controller, treasurer, CFO) before joining the academic world. Professeur agrégé des universités, he chaired the Economics & Finance dept. of Ecole des Ponts. Currently, he is an aliate professor at Africa Business School and HEC Montréal, professor of corporate nance at Collège des Ingénieurs and CEDEP, and teaches on the INSEAD campus, where he has been involved in executive education for 30 years.

BUSINESS EXPERIENCES IN SIMILAR PROGRAMS

Dominique has an experience in MBA and executive programs.
He has been teaching the main topic of corporate nance in MBA programs
at HEC Montréal, University of Ottawa, IMD, Collège des Ingénieurs and Ponts
Business School.
He was also very much involved in program design for large industrial rms
(L’Oréal, Valeo, Renault, etc.): company-specic programs for middle and top
managers on general management, business development, innovation marketing
& nance.
Dominique teaches not only the technical aspects of corporate nance, but also
what managers must know of the nancial rationality when they take business
decisions. His teaching is very transversal.
His teaching blends o-line e-learning and videos, and live webinars to support
classroom experience.
Apart from teaching, Dominique is a consultant in nancial strategy (nancial
structure, acquisitions, resource allocation) and an experienced coach for C-level
executives.
