BIOGRAPHY

Mohamed Amrani is a Professor of Finance at the Africa Business School, UM6P, and co-leads the Business Economics and Finance Strategic Research Unit. With over 27 years of experience in Morocco's financial sector, he has held leadership roles including CEO of an asset management company and stockbroker firm. Mohamed is also an Independent Member of the Actuarial Steering Committee for the Moroccan Pension Fund and has chaired key international actuarial committees. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Lorraine, France.

BUSINESS EXPERIENCES

Mohamed Amrani has accomplished the following professional projects :

– The participation in the strategy committee of the Casablanca Stock Exchange for the
selection of the industrial partner, London Stock Exchange.

– The study (drafting a report and conducting a survey on the ground) of the opportunity, on
behalf of BNPParibas, Paris, to create a new stock brokerage activity for Sahara Bank,
BNPParibas, in Tripoli, Lybia.

– The Financial Advisory in partnership with BMCI Finance for managing SONASID equity
shares listed on Casablanca Stock Exchange on behalf of Arcelor Group – Paris.

– The launch of Bancassurance activity at BMCI and the creation of the insurance brokerage
company, BMCI Assurance.

– The successful study of measuring Electrical Energy consumption with numerical analysis
for the company Landis & Gyr Energy Management, France.
