BIOGRAPHY
René Aïd is an aliate professor at the African Business School and has been a professor of economics at Paris-Dauphine University since 2016 and lecturer at the Ecole Polytechnique (2018-2015). He was an EDF R&D research-engineer in nancial economics of energy markets (2003-1998) and manager (2006-2003). Then, he was appointed the Deputy- Director of EDF R&D Research department on generation and nancial risk management (2016-2014). In addition, René was the Co-founder and Director (2013-2006) of the Finance for Energy Markets Research Initiative and received the AEF 2014 award of the best enterprise – university research initiative. He was the plenary speaker at the SIAM Financial Mathematics & Engineering conference (2016) and at the World Congress Bachelier Finance Society (2018). René Aïd is a member of the Scientic Oce of the Institut Louis Bachelier
