BIOGRAPHY

Dirk Michael Boehe holds a doctorate in Business Administration from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil and a Master of Arts from the Free University Berlin, Germany. He is Permanent Professor of Strategic Management at Africa Business School as of October 2021. Before joining ABS, Dirk held professional positions at several internationally accredited business schools, such as Full Professor of International Business at Massey University, Auckland, New Zealand; Associate Professor of International Business at the University of Adelaide, Australia and at Insper, Sao Paulo, Brazil; Assistant Professor at the University of Fortaleza, Brazil. At these institutions, he also held leadership positions in research and teaching, such as Director of the PhD program (Adelaide), Director of the Master of International Business (Adelaide), Associated Dean for the Undergraduate Program in Business Administration (Insper), Director of the Postgraduate Program in Business Administration (University of Fortaleza). His research focuses on the intersection between corporate strategy, corporate social responsibility and international business. For his research in these elds, Dirk has won diverse international awards from the Academy of International Business and the Academy of Management
